Coalition Government Briefing Seminar

'GETTING TO GRIPS WITH THE COALITION GOVERNMENT'

Representatives from voluntary and community sector organisations and Urban Forum members are invited to FREE half-day sessions to help them understand the implications of the new government's policies and approach.

Attendees from organisations not currently members of Urban Forum will be enrolled when they book: check out Urban Forum's current FREE membership offer for voluntary and community sector organisations.

To book your place email info@urbanforum.org.uk with your full contact details and indicating any dietary requirements or any other requirements you have.

There will be analysis and practical advice from Urban Forum Chief Executive, Toby Blume, on what's coming and where the opportunities lie. There will be a chance to discuss the practical implications of these plans and help inform our policy development work with the new government.

The sessions will cover:

-Government priorities and its legislative programme

-‘Big Society' and the government's approach to working with voluntary and community groups

-What the Emergency Budget on 22nd June means for spending plans and cuts

If you can't attend a seminar, you can still find out about the government's plans with Urban Forum's 'getting to grips with the new government' presentation.

Places are extremely limited (25 places max) so get in touch immediately to reserve your place
