Empowering communities. Advancing race equity. Building a stronger Surrey.

We work with communities and partners to strengthen community voice, tackle inequality and build a fairer, safer and more inclusive Surrey.

About SMEF

Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF) is a community-led charity working to strengthen community voice, tackle inequality and build stronger connections across Surrey. Founded by ethnic minority communities, we bring together communities, voluntary organisations and public services to ensure lived experience helps shape the decisions, services and solutions that affect people’s lives. Today, our network includes 86 member and associate organisations, giving SMEF a strong platform for advocacy, collaboration and lasting change across the county.
