SMEF, in partnership with Active Surrey, is offering small grants of up to £500 to support community-led projects that help ethnically diverse communities in Surrey become more active.

The fund is designed to support practical, culturally relevant and accessible activities that reduce barriers to participation and encourage people to move more in ways that feel welcoming and inclusive. Whether you are looking to start a new activity, expand an existing project or test a new idea, this grant can help bring your plans to life.

Applications are open to SMEF member organisations working with ethnically diverse communities across Surrey. Funding can be used for a range of physical activity project costs including session leaders, venue hire, equipment, promotion and accessibility support.
