Smokefree
Opening up conversations about tobacco, shisha and healthier lives within Surrey’s ethnic minority communities.
About the project
Our Community Tobacco Awareness Project focuses on making tobacco awareness relevant and accessible to Surrey’s ethnic minority communities, with particular attention to shisha and smokeless tobacco.
The project brings together campaign materials, digital content and signposting to stop smoking support. Resources include a dedicated Ramadan campaign, recognising the importance of faith, culture and familiar community settings in starting these conversations.
