Member Groups

Joining SMEF as a member enables us to represent the diverse views of ethnic minority communities and organisations more effectively to agencies such as Surrey County Council, district and borough councils, Surrey Police, and other public bodies. With approximately 60 ethnic minority member groups, we can support and promote the needs of ethnic minority communities while protecting their interests. SMEF consistently focuses on fostering integration, we celebrate the rich tapestry of the UK, urging everyone to embrace and respect its glorious diversity.

Being a member of SMEF entails active participation in our events, consultations, research, and activities.  Your engagement is crucial in shaping a positive impact and fostering growth. Together we can help to identify gaps in services for ethnic minority communities, aiding the development of new services to address unmet needs.
